 Sometimes a single signature sewn book has too many pages or is too thick and won’t close properly. This post demonstrates a simple trick to make a 2 signature book with the same amount of sewing as a one signature book. There are instructions for making a single signature or section book here.

 First, fold your two signatures, A and B. |
 Reverse the fold in B by turning it inside out. Then put signature A inside B. |

 Fold the front pages of signature B toward the back of the book. |

 Bone down the book and you’re done! |
